Had these two boxes for months. Lately seeing that the list of recorded programs when viewed on the 4642HD is missing episodes or complete shows as compared to the list on the PVR itself.
Any fixes for this? Just rebooting both. Tried unplugging both. No difference.
Reboot would be my first guess.. I have the same setup at home.. i can check tonight hopefuly and see if mine are showing up ok.
Only other thing i could think of.. would be to unplug the HD box.. then delete a show.. leave it for a good period of time, then let it boot back up, and then try to see whats there.. hopefuly it might force a refresh.
I was just wondering if you solved this issue since I am experiencing the same problem with my 4642, I can only see about half of my recordings. I am getting very tired of this Rogers experience.
Have had the two for about a week now and finding the exact same thing. AND DON'T delete a program that is part of a series because it will delete the entire series recording schedule and then tell you it EXISTS if you try to put it back.
NO ONE AT ROGERS SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO RESOLVE THIS. Been told several times "have a low signal that is one way" yet each time a senior tech comes out the levels are within specs ("normal" as he called it) so the boxes don't get replaced and told "it must be a glitch".
I have setup the new Remote TV Manager mobile app on my ipad to control my two PVRs. It worked fine for one day. I renamed each PVR according to room location and also noted that each listed on the mobile app via My Rogers account the exact recorded programs I keep on each PVR. 24 hours later, I opened the mobile app to control one of my PVR and could not find my PVR recorded lists, but instead saw the list of recorded programs from another PVR most likely in my neighborhood. I phoned Rogers to report this issue (serious privacy concerns) and was passed from TV technical to Internet to Wireless and told no one could address this issue. I have serious concerns that someone else has access to my information. Anyone else have the same problem?
