I was wondering if once you redeem it, is the amount viewable anywhere? And how can I know for sure it was activated?
I redeemed the 1500 point 2Gb Data reward before my actual data plan ran out, couple days before hand.
However, I still got the messages saying I'm over my limit.
I only have one phone line with rogers and nothing else.

The Extra 2gb of data is great!.
To confirm it was activated you should have got a confirmation email.

You will still get the message you are over the limit.
Because your plan tracks your regular data.
However, your next 2GB will be without charge, so you won't have to worry about Overage or Charges of any kind.
You are fine and this is normal. 🙂 Rogers rewads redemption does not modify your plan, it adds a Data code on your account to prevent billing impact, service and features wise your plan never changed. That is why you can't see it online. Just follow your "Total Usage" for current cycle and know that you can just +2 on your limit.

I tried getting the 2Gb data a second time and now I don't have the 2Gb data as an option. Why???

Hello @llewis29003,
Are you redeeming the reward for a second time in the same billing cycle?
When redeeming for a reward, only one redemption is permitted per a billing cycle for the same reward.

Yes. I thought that might have been the issue but I tried this morning and it didn't give me to option to select it. Then I tried again this afternoon and there it was!!! So I was able to select it! Not sure why it didn't give me the option and then a few hours later it.

Hello...
Today I tried to redeem my points online for 2GB data, and I received this error message:
So I tried both online chat and calling 1888ROGERS1 for help, but neither were able to help me. The phone agent told me that the reward is only applicable to customers w/ the Share Everything plan, but I don't see that stipulation anywhere in the terms and conditions.
Please help!
