Service interruptions are never ideal. Typically, they are resolved within 24-48 hours time. Is your internet service still not working or has the matter been resolved? Rebooting your modem may help resolve the issue and you can do so by unplugging the modem for one minute before plugging it back in. Please keep us posted!
A reboot did not fix it. A factory reset resulted in the DNS being blocked. I had an agent do a remote reset of the modem which fixed the DNS issue, however I do not know why the internet went down in the first place.
