Since upgrading to iOS 9'my app crashes every time I try to use it.
I have deleted the the app and reinstalled with the same results.
App starts and and logs in then returns tv listings. If I tap on any element of the UI to try to use beyond that it crashes.
Anyone else seeing this behaviour?

Thanks @RogersAsif for finally providing an update. While I agree with some that the timeframe seems exceptionally long, it is nice to finally have some news.
@smithery that is a very intersting perspective, and I suppose we will never know what the issue really is, I just hope they can deliver on a solution.

@arthurdonin: Read message 99 of this thread, but don't count on the date being accurate.

That is the message I am referring to.
I am just suggesting one plausible cause to the delay. Remember, if it is Apple's fault and you are dependent on them providing you product, you aren't about to slag them publically, otherwise, they will prevent you from getting supply. It is not a nice dance if it is the case.

I just installed the latest update to IOS 9 (IOS 9.2) and the Home Edition still crashes.
I guess it is up to you guys now!

Mko, I am not associated with Rogers in any way.
Even with the update, they may still need to update their app before submitting to Apple for approval and release. I know that this process is a real pain because when I was working on a magazine app, one of the Apple updates broke our app and we were scrambling to find a fix without having to resubmit it back to Apple. Apple can take up to a week to review and release the app to the iTunes store.

.
Please read messages 99, 105 of this thread, but don't count on the dates being accurate. If we don't have it by mid-January, perhaps then we can start complaining again.

I have also noticed that Apple has not released any updates for the last couple of weeks. So, that could throw a monkey wrench into the works. I too hope they get this fixed soon as a lot of specific events are starting up again and the best way to find them and set them up for recording is through the app.

One can only hope...
I downloaded a new iPhone version a few days ago; seems to work well and a couple of new features

Well unfortunately there were no promises made. They implied they would fix this by a certain date but they didnt guarantee it... They also didn't say what year LOL

It is simply unbelievable that they cannot fix this quickly in order to not . off their customers. Rogers cannot be taken seriously as a technology company if they cannot manage to allocate the proper resources to immediately fix a part of their ecosystem that is broken. It is quite shameful and they deserve bad press over this.

How did you get a new iPhone version? Anyone else get the iPhone app update? Nothing has come through yet for both iPhone and iPad for me.

iPhone app has always worked for me, just iPad version is the issue
01-09-2016 08:23 PM
No not for me, It'll still crash on my phone just not as often or catastrophically. For expample I'll go to the guide select a program, hit record and the app crashes. I'll go back into the app again and find that it accepted my record command..I mean in this case I guess it works but it's annoying as . .

I hear ya, if I touch anything it crashes, sad that this has been happening for so long with little to no response from rogers

It is obviously designed for the iPhone screen. The difference in video protocol is messing it up on the iPad. It's a hardware thing!

It used to work fine. Don't think it is a hardware thing. Never used it to watch tv only to remotely control my pvr and search for programs.

The iPad app worked up until May or June, I used it to watch tv ( second hockey game )
