Having SMCD3GN-RRR for more than 3 weeks. Don't understand,
1. What is the WPA button in the front for? It doesn't seem affect anything.
2. The "Links" light never light up except flashing at start. Ethernet cable are connected, work fine. Is it normal?
Thanks

Hello rabbit613
1. TheWPS button is for configuring wireless security automatically. This is used in new Modems as well.
2.That is how mine & mostly everyone else is.
Here is the manual for the gateway

thank you. I will try the WPS later. The manual shows different pages with the real gateway. It really mislead people like me. I was doubting my sanity when I was setting up the gateway with the manual.
