Pink screen with the new IPG

Sometimes when I change TV inputs from cable box from DVD or from AppleTV, the TV screen goes pink, purplish colour. The only way to return it back to normal is to turn off & on the TV or unplug the HDMI then plug it back in again.  The TV is normal when playing DVD or the AppleTV. This problem only happened when I got the new IPG. I keep rebooting it but same problem. I have the Cisco 8642 box. Anyone have any ideas what's problem here.? I  don't want go back to the old IPG.

Re: Pink screen with the new IPG

Hello melcj90,

It sounds more like an input issue than an issue with the new IPG.  Does the problem occur when changing the input from the DVD player to the AppleTV?

Thanks,

Re: Pink screen with the new IPG

I have a rogers HD PVR and get the same problem. Doesn't matter what I switch to. The only way to get rid of it is to unplug the Nexbox, wait 2 minutes and re-boot. Then it's OK.  Any cure for this?

@pitremd

Is this the new 9865 nextbox 3?
If your video output is set to 1080p, set to 1080i, that can fix many output issues.
