Official Win10 update for Lumia 830

I've Been Around

My girlfriend has a Lumia 830 and since the official release of Win10 mobile, when I run the Update Advisor app to see if her phone is compatible with Win10, it says that Microsoft is still working with the carrier to enable the update. Does anyone have an ETA on when it will be available? Thank you

For those looking to upgrade to the Windows 10 Mobile, here's how.

Verify if your device is eligible for the upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile

Steps:

  1. On Start Menu, swipe over to the All apps list, and then select Store.
  2. Search for the Upgrade Advisor app, and then install it on your device.

  3. Open the app on your device. It checks your device and lets you know if it's ready for the upgrade, if an update is required before you can get the upgrade, or if your device can't be upgraded.

  4. Once you confirm the upgrade is available, select Enable Windows 10 upgrade and press next.
  5. Tap Done and goto the Phone Update in Settings to install Windows 10 Mobile.

It  is not even showing in the "upcoming Rogers OS "  ?

So Rogers have no clue when Windows Phone 10 will be available?

Re: Official Win10 update for Lumia 830

I've heard there are feature degredations with the Windows 10 Mobile upgrade.

I'd like to keep my phone up-to-date, yet don't want to loose any features that I am using.

Can anyone confirm if they have experienced any issues with the upgrade?

thanks
