As I stated in another thread I thought i'd ask the question here, we know that tomorrow (29/03/2011) Telus will be releasing the NoDo update to Windows Phone 7 devices, and have even put out a press release why hasn't there been any transparency from Rogers regarding the Nodo update and why hasn't there been any information put out to users about this?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
For those who don't know about the update this is what the update is bringing:
Solved! Solved! Go to Solution.
Still waiting for NoDo here in London Ontario.
It's been over a week since Rogers stated that the staggered updates were rolling out. How many Focus users are there really? Apart from the carriers holding up the process since January, the requirement to stage the rollout of a small number of updates seems a bit odd.
It looks as if certain WP7 phones are getting slightly modified versions of NoDo, which would explain the reasoning behind the delayed updates. The phone carriers seem to be making tweaks to the radios, or other services, offered through their own network. Obviously Microsoft has nothing to do with this, so the delay really rests on the shoulders of the carrier.
We can confirm that the WP7 NoDO update available through Zune has been certified to work on the Rogers device.
To update your device simply connect to Zune and the upgrade will be installed.
I hope this resolves everyones questions and concerns.
