No CID Name Display

I know name display doesn't work for all numbers but mine doesn't work at all, ever, all I get is the number (unless its in my contacts of course). This all started when I had an unlocked Blackberry Storm - only way to get any CID on that was to have Rogers BB tech support remove the CID name option.

I now have HTC Hero, but have tried my my SIM card in various standard Rogers phones and still get no CID name. Rogers Tech said they couldn't see anything wrong.

Could it be because it was Rogers Blackberry support that removed the Name option that regular Rogers techs don't see it? Or could I just have Support remove CID totally, then readd it?

Re: No CID Name Display

Many Android phones do not support the Name Display function. That is why it is not working. The two HTC Android's that Rogers carries/carried (the Magic & the Dream) do not support Name Display.
