Re: New firmware for Lumia 900

I was able to download the Camera Extra's app finally by following this link using my phone.

http://windowsphone.com/s?appid=1e310870-4f8b-424f-ab09-cba832770981

The new firmware is not needed.

Re: New firmware for Lumia 900

CAMERA EXTRAS,

For some reason they are not easy to find.  HOWEVER, if you have a LUMIA phone, go to the link I pasted below on your desktop or laptop or tablet computer.

Next, hold your LUMIA phone up to the screen and select the BING search (bottom right button on phone).  Then select the "EYE" at the bottom of the BING search page and place it over the QR CODE (black box) on the screen.   It will then give you a web address on your LUMIA phone.  Touch the web address and you'll be taken to CAMERA EXTRAS.  You can then download it.

Re: New firmware for Lumia 900

There is also no trick to getting the Camera Extras...all you gotta do is open this link in your browser (IE) on your phone and it'll bump you over to the market where you should be able to download the app...I had no problems getting is post update

Re: New firmware for Lumia 900

Just checked and I haven't got the firmware yet. I expect it is a staggered role out. Good to know some people are starting to get it though.

So been using this new device for 1day and looks good

- Purple issue is fixed

- New Nokia icon on market place

- Botton three button continue to light up until the screen display times out ( before the bottom three icon lights will time out and i have to keep search them in the night )

- Seeing a curser during text selection in blue color

- Flip to silence is working

- With the purple hue fixed, i am using the Display brightness set to Auto and saving some battery

Overrall .. Happy Camper ..

Nothing on my Lumia 900 yet =/  Rogers on Twitter is "No further information to provide" *sigh*

For those of you with 8779, here's a link to the Beta release of Nokia's Data counter app.
