New Nextbox 2.0 & iPad

So the technician was here, and setup the system, and so far, with some exceptions Im happy with it.

So, a few questions if I might.

1) The reciever in the living room, cant seem to play the first recording I made.  It says it is, the screen goes blank, with the progress bar along the bottom showing no activity.  The timer shows no advancement, the indicator shows.. play.

2) My iPad, finds what I believe is the Living room reciever, but not the PVR (in the bedroom not to far away).  And thus, nothing is accessible.

3) The iPad app give me the choice to play on the ipad, or watch on TV.  However, when I select TV .. nothing happens.

(Rogers Anyplace TV Home Editions?)

Any guidance would be appreciated!
