Misleading customers with incorrect tower information on map.

There is a Rogers tower icon on the map at http://www.loxcel.com/celltower on Lakeshore Drive near Saint Malo Manitoba but there is no such tower on or near Lakeshore Drive. Wish there was though because the cell phone signal in this area is not very good. The map is misleading to existing and potential customers who expect good cell service in the Saint Malo area according to this map.  Please explain the tower shown on the map which is not there.

Re: Misleading customers with incorrect tower information on map.

Hello Debonair

If in fact there is no tower in that location, you need to send that info to the website owner. This website is NOT from Rogers. Its a third party website showing towers & what not. Rogers has nothing to do with it if the website owners / mods are putting the wrong info up.

Contact them via http://www.loxcel.com/contact-us

& see what they can do & give you the exact tower. If its really there & you are not getting signal, then yes Rogers needs to look at this & see what is going on.

Trying looking it up on this website http://www.cellphonenetworkcoverage.com/province/on/toronto

I don't think it's my job to contact them.  I really think it is up to Rogers to contact them to correct this.

Hello Debonair

That is true but as a customer viewing the website & have questions about this & all you can ask them if you want for a few answers. It may not be your job but if you want answers, its something you should do.. Rogers may not even contact them as they are not a Rogers company. Remember this is a third party company.

Re: Misleading customers with incorrect tower information on map.

I have to agree with meowmix on this.

There can be 100's of 1000's of sites out there, that people have posted info about rogers, etc... is it true? is it not true??
Rogers can be in charge of policing all that info everywhere.

While these sorts of sites often pull from exising data available, alot of it is supplied from user generated info as well.. unforunately that leads to some inaccuracies.
