batsirai, I'm not sure I understand your question. You have the CGN3, and you are using it in conjuntion with an Airport Extreme? In bridge mode, the CGN3 is agnostic to whatever device you actually attach to it. It will die, regardless of what type of hardware you are using, whether its a d-link or a cisco.

Re: Keep needing to reboot CGN3

Just for you guys who are subscribed to this thread:

I started a new one; got the firmware update (4.2.4.3) this morning, and it seems to be be working - I've been plexing and playing some games, have VPN on throughout the day in bridge mode, and it hasn't crashed yet!

Let me know how you guys fare as the roll-out goes.

Re: Keep needing to reboot CGN3

I'm crossing my fingers that I'm not on the new firmware, as I just had to reboot mine. Still in bridge mode. No time tonight, but I'll throw it into gateway mode in the morning and check what version I'm on.

I'm pretty sure you get the firmware either way, but I always stick it in gateway mode just in case. :\

Re: Keep needing to reboot CGN3

So I tried Access Point setup with my routers to the Hitron, firmware is 4.2.4.1, and the speed is pitiful, worse than Bridge Mode at 47 Mbps

Wait until youi get the new firmware, and then give it another try - Bridge mode seems very stable.

Hello gisuck

It is but its being pushed out to each section aka city different times. The Techs can NOT send it out manually as they can not do so. It will come to you when it does sadly.
