After updating to 4.1.1 ... my LTE service is gone ... I'm now back to 4G only!

Anyone else has the same problem as me?!

Also few of the apps that has the "voice" features aren't working either~

Anyone knows why?!

Have you gone into the settings & see if LTE has been enabled? Check that & see. Sometimes by default it will go back to 3G/4G.

If its turned on, try doing a factory reset again & see if it will show LTE.

It's ok ... I found it!! It has LTE enable!  I guess reset to factory setting will be the only option!

In the settings, under "network mode", You will have the options of "gsm/hspa (auto)" "gsm/hspa/lte(auto)". Check if gsm/hspa/lte( auto) is picked.

Sigh ... after reset to factory setting ... can't download any apps at all!! It gives an erorr saying 

could not be downloaded due to an error (Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:s-5:AEC-0])

Do you have Data turned on? This update seems like its ruining the phone instead of making it better it looks like..

Yes .. the 4G is on~ I'm able to access the internet!

Hmm that is weird then. Turn off the phone & turn it back on. See if that works. If not, try the factory reset again.

Ive been waiting to get JellyBean all day. Did you guys on here get an update on your s3?

I went to my settings to see if there are updates available on my phone but it couldn't connect to the server.

Hello ML91

Yes all of us got the update & that problem. You can simple just install the new version of KIES on your computer & then plug in the S3 into your computer. KIES will show there is a update & install it for you.
