Is there a status page anywhere on Rogers portal that provides customers with an update on the incident? Would save us all having to bombard their switchboard with calls.

It's just the DNS that is down. Change your DNS from automatic to google's free DNS and you are golden.

use 8.8.8.8

In windows 7:
control panel > network and sharing > change adapter settings (left side) > right click on local area network > properties > select Internet Protocol Ver 4 > properties > select "use the following DNS server address" > enter 8.8.8.8

My brother just called to say it is down in Richmond Hill as well.  We are downtown Toronto on Rogers (Cabbagetown) ... we are working fine.

Yorgi is right!! just change your DNS to 8.8.8.8 and it works fine.

I have all my services on rogers, and all the rest are working, other than the DNS server is not working.  I dont know what your talking about with the home phone..

As per the ToU/ToS, they state that they dont guarantee that the service will always be working.  All providers have something similar incuding bell 😞

Likely, the message people are getting is due to them not being able to get even into the phone queue, i am betting almost all lines are tied up right now.
