Internet Insurance Plan

Someone told me about this and I thought I would share. I go over my internet usage almost every month. I don't need anymore speed I just need more usage. If you call Rogers and NICELY tell them you keep going over your monthly bandwidth and you can't afford to pay it every month they will 9/10 send you to Tech Support. Explain to them about your problem NICELY and they will ask if you would like an Insurance Plan (except 5 dollars a month). What a insurance plan is say if you have 120GB monthy if you go over you will get 180. Im not sure if its 60GB for every plan or a percentage.

Conclusion: Its worth a try! I haven't done it yet, but the source said it works.

Re: Internet Insurance Plan

I already pay $120 for 330GB cap. Still getting ripped off and still going over. Not much I can do about that. I'd need at least double my current cap to not go over. And that's just with my wife and myself using our devices.

Re: Internet Insurance Plan

Actually Kdubovik Netflix's uses anywhere from 500mb to 2gb per movie/tv show. Video gaming takes up a lot, uploading pictures and videos. Its not hard to get 300gb a month.

Mbazdell Im not sure if I am aloud to say this but Shaw has a good deal on internet. its faster and you get a lot of usage. Might not be as big of a name in Canada, but its cheaper!
