What internet package are you on?
Which gateway is that?

They keep farting around with the upstream channel stuff.. myself and many others only have the 1 upstream channel now (though i still get my 2 up that i should).

That shouldnt effect your earlier issue though.. i think.

This instability is unpredictable one month its rock solid the next it just goes crazy.
