You can definitely remove the voicemail feature from your plan if you chose to.


You can call 1-800-575-9090 to reach a Pay GO representative, who would be able to complete that for you.

How do I remove voicemail from my pay as you go phone?

I am tired of paying money for telemarketing calls for a phone I rarely use.

 

I removed it in the manage add ons but it is still there.

I understand you're looking to remove voicemail from your Pay as you Go phone? You would need to contact our Rogers Pay as you Go team at 1-800-575-9090.  To reach a representative please choose option 4 (general information) then option 4 again (how to contact Rogers).  At the end of the information on how to contact Rogers, you will be given an option to speak to someone (option 1).

 

Our Pay as you Go representatives have the ability to deactivate the voicemail feature from your plan. You simply have to let a representative know that you wish to bring this modification to your service and it will take effect right away.

 

We would like to look into this further, and provide you with further assistance in regards to this. 

Since that modification requires access to your account, the @CommunityHelps team would have the ability to reach out to you via Private MessageLet us know if you need help!

I don't even see any place to manage add ons anymore. When I first got a PayGo phone years ago, I found voicemail was quickly eating up my balance and tried to cancel it on line because the option was there, but it didn't work. When I called Rogers about this the agent saw that it was disabled when in fact it wasn't. She eventually did get it disabled for real. There has always been something screwy with that. Your only option is to do as RogersArthur said and call in to get this fixed.

Thank you... that worked.... now those pesky telemarketers will have to pick on someone else.
