Re: I cannot access to the default IP address 192.168.0.1

Hello @Dobegun,

This is a known issue with the hitron cable internet modems.  Unplug the modem from the wall, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in.  Wait until your internet connection is online (5-10 minutes), then try accessing the router again.

Are you now able to access the router at http://192.168.0.1 ?

Re: I cannot access to the default IP address 192.168.0.1

I think its only the ACSMR and the new one for the gigabit which have that bug currently.
(on the current regular firmware.. the new beta firmware might have it fixed?)

The regular CGN3 doesnt appear to have the local access issue.
I can access mine at any time month after month, etc.

Re: I cannot access to the default IP address 192.168.0.1

I  was able to solve 192.168.1.1 issue by fixing the drivers that was causing the router from not connecting. You can find the related in the link above. sometimes the default IP address might vary depending upon the modem like

192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.254
