How to view/open multiple email messages in separate tabs?

In Rogers Yahoo Mail, can someone please tell me how to open multiple email messages at once? i.e. represented by separate tabs across the top. Since ~ 2014, this functionality appears to have been lost. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this a design change/error.  I imagine other users rely on this ability to cut and paste between messages or reference information from multiple messages.

Re: How to view/open multiple email messages in separate tabs?

I too, thought it was lost...

BUT I FOUND A WAY Smiley Very Happy

Not QUITE as good as before, but works.

1) On your inbox view, click on the VIEW on the right side.

2) Under MULTITASKING choose TABS

As you open an email, it will open its own sort of tab at the top.
Now, there isnt an INBOX tab, so to go back to the inbox, click on it, on the folder view on the left.

Thanks Gdkitty. I had tried that setting a few days ago, and for some unknown reason, the change was not saved. But today it worked as you described. Thx again!
