Home&Away Voicemail to Text feature not working as designed

To start out, I called tech support and the lady couldn't pull up my account via Postal Code or Phone Number.

So I hunted for the account # and she decided to finally help me.

After explaining the whole thing,,  she said tech support would need to get involved.  

Huh ??!

 

So now I have explained it to someone who has put me on hold on.

Voicemail to Text

Voicemail to Text enables your home phone voicemail to be sent to your mobile device as a MMS. Receive MMS messages and listen to the audio file or read the transcribed text. Once your MMS message is reviewed on your mobile device, your home phone voicemail message will still be available for review on your regular mailbox

 

Well, the it does not transcribe the voicemail and send as a text message.  This is what I need.

 

Please advise Rogers

Ok it's working now!

 

Voicemail was left and it was transcibed into a text and then sent to my cell as SMS

Not sure if it was a BlackBerry setting,,, or Koodo (my new cell) turned MMS on for me or Rogers fixed it,,,, sorry

 

Ideally, Rogers would transcribe the voicemail and then EMAIL it to me instead.  

Feature request if anyone is reading this.

Ok an update on this.   

 

After using customer support chat who told me I needed to call in and waiting on hold forever, the guy on the line said I had to use the text chat  to get help...   http://www.rogershelp.com/chat

Now the lady on this chat line is telling me to call in to the support line........ again

Ok this is getting a little scary - what's going on over there Rogers????

 

I called the home phone tech support line a second time as shown on the support site.

Then navigate through the menus,   2 for tech support  /   1 for my phone /  3 for home phone  /   2 for voicemail   /   2 for retrieving voicemail 

"we're sorry we are experiencing technical difficulties"    .... wait-for-it......    then click  !!   Man Frustrated
