I live in the Ottawa area (Manotick) and also have home phone outage. I have been out since Tuesday and have been lead to understand that this is an Ottawa wide issue with no date for resolution at this time. Very frustrating, very poor service. BTW resetting the modem does no good.

Are you still without service at this time? If so, we'd like to help. I've been in the middle of outages without ETAs for many different services and it's never a fun feeling to be left in the dark. At the very least, we can seek out an ETA for you if the outage is still ongoing.

fyi, numerous of your CSR’s have offered the same service but have come up empty. Hope you have some luck.

I know how important it is to have a working Home Phone. I hope that it has started working for you by now. If not, have you reached out to tech support to troubleshoot?
There should be a Home Phone modem located somewhere inside the home. Please ensure this device is still connected to power and coaxial cable on both ends. Can you confirm the light pattern displayed on the Home Phone modem?
If the modem is connected via power and coaxial cable and it is properly secured on both ends and there is still no dial tone then we'll need to troubleshoot further and possibly have a technician out to visit your home.
