Nothing else changed? No other cables un plugged durring it, the cable from the wall, etc?
Check all the connections, etc. Make sure they are all tight. Make sure they are all ok.. (like on the one going into the modem the wire in the middle is still there).
Beyond that.. nothing else should really prevent it.. its not that if you have it unplugged for X amount of time, that it wont load back, etc.

Have you tried to do a hard reset on the modem?
If not can you try this and let us know the result. Feel free to swap your rental modem at any Rogers Plus location as well.
I checked all the cables, also a few times. I disconnected them and connected back. Nothing.
