[Help] Mint condition unlocked Verizon phone doesn't work with Rogers

Hello everyone!

I bought a [HTC One M9 - 32GB - (Verizon) Smartphone] from a USA seller on Ebay.


In the item description it said:

Is the phone really unlocked or not ?

Is there actualy a method to check that ?

Is the Rogers's network is compatible Verizon's phones. ?

So many questions in my mind, im kind of lost. If you guys can help me out I'd really appreciate 😃

The information you posted doesn't actually say the phone is unlocked and mentions its a Verizon phone. I do see "Ready to use for any sim carrier" which would indicate the device should be unlocked but doesn't specify that it is.


By the looks of it the device is not unlocked, as you should only be receiving that message when a locked phone recognizes that the sim card is not from the original carrier.


You will need to get this device unlocked. The IMEI of the device has to be on our system for 90 days before we can unlock it. Unfortunately, you will have to get the unlock done by a 3rd Party.


Once you have it unlocked it should work on the Rogers Network.
