Gamecenter problem

It's 6:56 and I'm wating for Leafs game. I'm stuck on http://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/en/gamecenterlive?id=2014020001  at the Watch Tab

Current NHL GameCenter LIVE™ subscribers sign in:     DOES NOT ACCEPT MY MYROGERS LOGIN.      I have already got the NHL Checkmark on Rogers.com

The only things visible is:

Upgrade to Watch Live Games, Replays and More

I was in on my Samsung mobile last night but now cant get on my desktop.  Do I need an app??  What is going on???

I click on "start watching now" on the Rogers page and then I am redirected to nhl.com where I cannot log in!!!

I spent over an hour with them last night, and they were unable to resolve this. Similarly, I can access it on my Surface Pro and my Android phone, but not on the desktop. I swear I was told to "just login here" at the adress from above dozens of times. It just wouldn't sink in that the issue isn't loging in at Rogers, it's when it gets handed off to the nhl site. I have been a gamecenter customer for years, but if Rogers can't provide a resolution to this I will be cancelling my account for a refund and will access "3'rd party" streams instead.

That link just redirects to nhl.com where you cannot log in!

I have this same problem being redirected to nhl.com. Also on my appletv it says no account found but I was able to login on my iphone..

How does nhl.com even know about myRogers info?

Seems like a DNS issue where you are being directed to NHL.com's game center login and not the rogers one. Once I had the dns changed I was able to login in the ios app on my iPhone. I have yet to try my PC and appleTV again...

You're possibly connecting to a VPN or an IP address outside of Canada if it's redirecting to the US' GameCentre on NHL.com

Try doing a hard reboot or factory reset of your Apple TV

Hey Everyone,

I had the same problem and was able to solve it.

I am using an american primary and secondary IP in my router.

I removed those addresses to appear canadian.

Logged into the NHL app on the Apple TV. Got the game on.

Then went back into my router and put the American IPs back, and voila. It worked! 😃

Yes it seems after checking with my DNS provider that it is a DNS issue that is redirecting my computer and appletv to nhl.com instead of the rogers gamecenter. Guessing this also means that if you travel to the US you will be unable to access Rogers Game Center Live.

Followed the prompts in the rogers guide to access gamecentre live, but login still doesn't work. Tried using the "instant" chat, but still waiting for someone after 10 minutes.  Rogers would screw up the Lords Prayer. (George Stromolopolus hosting HNIC??? Wha't next, Coaches Corner with Stephen & Chris).

If you're using a USA redirector (like a DNS or VPN solution that makes you appear you're in the US) then it won't work.  You need to disable that function and then when you use your myrogers login it should allow you in.

For ipad Say No Thanks to NHL Gamecenter login. Then Go to Menu -> Settings -> Rogers Login. The Menu button is the top left hand corner of the screen. Enter Rogers login, agree to all legal BS. Good to go.

They don't.. it's called an API. It allows you to log in to Rogers *seemingly* via the NHL Gamecenter, while Rogers' server actually does the validating of your credentials and simply tells the NHL's page whether you successfully logged in or not.. This is commonplace in many parts of the internet. Your Rogers info is not sitting on the NHL's server, per se, unless some hack job set things up. 

Ever log into a website via Facebook login? Facebook's user base (usernames, passwords, etc.) aren't sitting on that webpage!

For $200 you would've guessed this service would be next to flawless. There is way too many problems with it. I constantly get logged out of my account, the frame frequency is too slow (I wouldn't be surprised if it's less than 20 fps), and the image freezes quite often. I might as well watch the games on those free poor quality stream sites. Once my trial period ends, I am definitely NOT buying your service.

Is everyone in here Rogers customers?  My problem is similar to all this but I'm not a Rogers customer.  I purchased Gamecenter thru the NHL site so my NHL username and Passwrd does not work for the Ihone or iPad apps.

My apple TV works fine and I can log into the NHL website and it works fine.

I have created a Rogers account but need to know if there is a way I can link the two accounts so the apps will work.
