It was certainly a challenging situation where highlights were not available only on Apple TV 4. We were in continuous touch with the support team and we are especially grateful to @dgortemaker for all the screenshots and videos provided during the troubleshooting process. Good news, we have received the confirmation a fix has been deployed so it should be all set for the next season.

I uninstalled the app, restarted my Apple TV and reinstalled and the same issue. I can watch the game live but not the highlights or recap
UPDATE: I have had two cases registered for this issue. Have been in contact with Rogers tech support and am still getting a general 'we are working on the issue' answer. A 3 month wait (seeing initial post here in December 2016) seems like plenty of time to resolve this issue in my mind. I'm not convinced a whole lot of resources have been put into resolving this in a timely fashion.
