GPS quality in Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE? best GPS on an Android phone?

Hi
I have the first Rogers Samsung Captivate and find that the GPS is terrible. It takes a long time to get a lock and has frequent loss of signal lock once it does. I don't use the GPS function often, but enough that I find it irritating. I'm thinking of upgrading to another android phone, but want to make sure it has a well functioning GPS. The GPS will be used for both driving navigation and for tracking my runs and bike rides.

Any comments on the GPS function in the Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE?
Any other phones people can suggest with excellent functioning GPS?

thanks

ive used the GPS once last week. i liked it. it was just as accurate as the tom tom gps that i have. theres another function that works with the GPS called "sensor aid". basicly finds your location more accurately. i too will be using the gps function for my bike rides. cant wait to see how good itll be
