That's an excellent idea! I would also urge anyone reporting a service interruption to include your location. Nobody can help or confirm when we don't know where you are.

Rogers PayGo. Location: S-W Ontario

I think it's a very good idea to have a Rogers Service Interruptions Thread. You wouldn't need to try this and that to see why you couldn't get to where you wanted to go.

It would be nice if Rogers put a banner on the Rogers landing page regarding the Rogers/Yahoo e-mail issue today, along with an ETR.

Would be nice to see location and stuff in the table for Southwestern Ontario cause all I see is blank but yet in London my cable and internet aren’t working due to the outage

How about some actual useful info like ETA for resumption of service and services affected. And don't even get me started on the joke of this being not accessible friendly to mobile devices.....I should not have to scroll side to side with a mobile device. If my internet is with Rogers you know I have to use my mobile. My internet and tv has been down since before 7am this morning. We are past 12 hours so how about some real information. Why do we pay for service not received?

I like the idea of updates, though they are not clear at the moment. As an example Screen Shot 2018-03-08 at 3.44.36 PM.png

is this for 2 outages or 1, is it really affecting all of Scarborough? Not very clear

Also, for transparency why not keep an historical list of outages?

Hi, I am in Scarborough between Kennedy Rd. and Scar. Gen. hospital, and everything has worked ok so far today.

Today there is a banner on the Rogers Landing page that says:

Due to a cut fibre, customers in Mississauga may experience a service outage. Repair crews are working to restore services. Learn more

Unfortunately, when you click "Learn more", there is no additional information... Smiley Sad

Not that easy to report an outage. I like Toronto Hydro’s method and process better. More prominent on the page, faster, provides feedback and info on extent of outage. Power is back up at 1030 but TV and internet are not and still out at 1120 in Markland Wood area which had the power outage.

It is not up to date on service outages.

There are 8 posts can not see 7 or them in safari or Crome on iPhone.

Can not reply to great Toronto area post.

Nice concept terrible execution. Phone hold time is over 3 hours it would be great if this worked so I could find out something without having to be on hold.

Feature request: it would great if the site had the ability to sms me updates to an outage that I subscribe to

Re: FEEDBACK - Rogers Service Interruptions Thread

Outage in Mississauga- Clarkson village area

Mississauga is not listed in the areas affected by the severe weather. We do not have cable/ internet. Trying to determine if it’s just our house or the neighbourhood. How do I find out?

Re: FEEDBACK - Rogers Service Interruptions Thread

Hello, @Tuckerslam

I appreciate joining the Rogers Community Forums and posting your query. As you have recognized due to severe weather, some areas in southern Ontario have service disruptions. Repair crews are restoring services.

You can send us a private message @CommunityHelps so that we can check your connection as well as the neighbourhood.  Our private messaging system is explained in this blog.

Cheers,

RogersMoin
