External SD card gets loaded multiple times in file system?

When I use the 16G SD card I got for my Raider it shows up multiple times in the file system in folders called mnt/sdcard/ext_sd, sdcard, and sdcard2.

If I boot without it installed then none of them show.

Anyone know why the OS is doing this? It's a nuisance to have to search for and uncheck the extra folders so my mp3's don't get scanned multiple times when loading songs up into a player.

did you format the card in your phone, or on your computer?

I can't remember if I formatted it at all to be honest.

I pulled the music and pics off my previous phone's SD card onto the PC, put the new SD in the phone and copied the files from the PC onto it.

Well, the first thing that you should do, is format the card... & in the device that you will be using it in. You may find that this will solve the problem.

Backed up, Formatted in phone (says "erase" not "format" in menu for some reason, copied files back and its exactly the same?

Does anyone else see sdcard2 in their file system as well as sdcard?
