@Slynish : Rogers doesn't sell your numbers. Telemarketers use auto-dialers to call all possible phone numbers and they usually change their "call display" (spoofed) numbers after each cycle of calls.
It's been on the news that there has been a huge increase in scam/telemarketing calls and I have noticed this also on my Cell and on my home phone. I've also noticed that these seem to come in cycles.
Here are my recommendations on how to handle it on a home phone. Not sure if you can do something similar on a cell phone, but just don't answer any calls from numbers you don't recognize/have in your speed dial directory...
