Correct External Antenna for HSPA800 Coverage

According to the status page, my Rocket Hub always uses HSPA800.

I tried an external antenna and got no benefit. It makes me wonder if the antenna didn't support 800 mHz.

Many of the antennas seem to offer the 850 frequency. Is that close enough? What external antenna should I be using?

Re: Correct External Antenna for HSPA800 Coverage

Hey K-C,

You should be able to get the information you are looking for, by contacting the Antenna manufacturer, they are usually able to  provide the best recommendations.

Does anyone from the community use an external antenna that might be able to provide additional feedback?

Thanks,

I use a Wilson antenna on my RocketHub Ericsson W35:

It very definitely works for me, as where I am located I cannot get Internet on my RocketHub without it.

Check out the specs at the above URL or google the Wilson site.
