it's messed up that we have to complain to get movement though. i feel bad for those who are waiting patiently and not complaining. the system is flawed, that's for sure. 

 

 


I dont think its an issue. Might just be getting picked up at the end of the day by UPS. Im sure we will get some tracking Monday morning. I believe the shipments are very quick and 7 days is just the maximum assuming you are in a weird location.

 

Its sad that we had to complain to get it I agree. And very unfair for those who dont know to complain, and are waiting patiently (or impatiently lol).

Hello Amie3

When that shows up on UPS site, it means UPS has not updated their site with the correct tracking info. When you get the tracking number threw Rogers, it means UPS has it in their hands but the site has not updated yet.

Wait until 7-9PM & you will see more info on the site.

omg, my phone broke today! 

thank goodness UPS says my phone will ship by monday end of day!!

 

you were right meow mix -- ups status updates began sometime between 7 and 9 !

Hey all! 

Have been on my wife's corp.. plan.  If found it very interesting that if you have a corp. plan,  you must wait through the wait list and delivery.  I was told from a Rogers Rep. that if the Apple store had these in stock,  I could proceed with the upgrade and the reservation would be cancelled.  When I arrived at the Apple store,  the employee had stock and was starting to process the system update.  Due to the plan being on the corp. side,  Apple had no access.  After calling Rogers again to see what the issue was,  I was told there was nothing they could do in this situation.  I need to wait for the reservation list to catch up to me.

Very frustrating to see the i-phone in the Apple Store employee's hand, 3 feet away, ready to hand it over.....nope sorry...

Is this a standard practice?

i don't know if it is standard practice, but it is pretty dumb practice. if you want to complain, you should definitely bring that up!! Apparently, Rogers is taken action to resolve complaints, but not really taking action to fulfill the iPhone reservation list. 

 

@meowmix

You seem to know a lot about UPS. If it says "end of day", can we take that to mean 5:00PM? thanks in advance!

funny you mention that. yesterday my torch fell out of my pocket and now the screen works once in a while if i play with it long enough. Otherwise the phone stays on - but it is just a blank screen lol

For the spreadsheet, I finally have me a shipping notification after Rogers' little "mixup" with canceling my order.
