Code to control receiver volume... Or alternate setup...

Duckman
I Plan to Stick Around

I have a Rogers HD box remote, 1055.  I cannot find a code to control the volume on my Samsung Receiver, HW-C700.  I have tried the 3 from, www.urcsupport.com with out any success.

What are my options.

For simplicity I have all 3 of my compents pluged into my TV using hdmi, and then use a digital optical cable into the receiver/amp.

Any suggestions???

Thanks for your help?!!

Have you tried AUX 1932 and AUX 0820?

Other option is to get a logitech Harmony Remote. The easiest and most configurable universal remote I've ever used. Anyone I know who tries one goes out and buys one the next day.

I have not tried the above, how do I do so???  Can you give a step by step??

Thanks!

Press and hold select and AUX until all mode keys blink twice.
Enter the code and mode keys will blink twice.
Try the power button to see if the device turns on.

If not try again with the other code.

I press the aux button and the round "ok/select" button on my remote and nothing happens...

Any advice??

Sorry,
Press the AUX button it will blink once. Then hold the select button until it blinks twice.

Ahh that sucks... you should be able to find a code some how but it might take a while..

I still recommend a Logitech Harmony Remote. It will solve your issues.. But yeah there not cheap but totally worth every penny.
