I recently had the 4K PVR (Nextbox 3 terminal) installed at my home, along with 2 accompanying HD Terminals for whole home PVR. I like to have CC on my TVs. When I watch a recorded show on the main PVR terminal, I have no issues - I can forward with the page up/down function (3 minutes), or use the skip back button (10 seconds back), to skip commercials or get to where I want to be in the show, and the CC will stay on. However, if I am watching a recorded show on one of my other terminals, I can't do this. If I use the page up or skip back function, the CC turns off and I have to press INFO to get the CC back on - frustrating. If I use the "regular" fast forward or rewind functions, this doesn't occur.
Can someone else confirm this bug? Is this a known bug? If so (or if not), can Tech Support look into it and see why this happens and what update needs to be done to fix it?

The 4K PVR is not the same as a Nextbox 3.0. See:

I have not heard of this issue before. I have a list of all of the problem areas in the following link.
That's not to say it doesn't happen. You'd have to have a 4K PVR, and use CC and use skip and have WHPVR. That limits the number of people quite a bit, probably to less than 100....
Have you tried rebooting all the boxes? I hope this can be sorted out for you. I also use CC about 10-20% of the time that we watch TV and it would bother me too, but I don't have WHPVR. You can contact Rogers using the following "Share a concern" link. I've found it very useful, requesting a call back:

Thanks - and you're right, I mean the 4K PVR and the 4K Terminals. I didn't know that there were so few out there with this hardware, WHPVR and using CC...
I'll follow up with Rogers... I rebooted, but still a bug...
