Cisco explorer 4642hd issue

I just swapped over to this new receiver last night and it already isn't working.  The front LED shows a bunch of numbers that just keep cycling back and forth.  It has been doing this for over 8 hours, i've tried unplugging it to to restart, but get the same result.  Has anyone experienced this before?

Yeah, sound like it might be a bad unit... give it a try swaping it.  Only other thing, might be a not strong enough signal for it to get the right information when booting.

A reboot/firmware update should not take that long.

Have you called Rogers Support to make sure the box has been Authorized?

I would exchange for another unit.
