Cisco DPC3825 Gateway

I just got an Optimus 2X from Wind about two weeks ago, and have been able to get it to connect to myRogerswifi at home.

I’ve not been able to connect it during the last few days but all of my other devices work fine on my Rogers wifi, including an iPhone, Laptop and an iPod touch, but for some reason this phone will not connect.

The phone says "scanning" then "connected" but immediately says "disconnected" and the wifi will stay on, but not connect to myRogerswifi. Any other suggestions would be most welcome, as I am now considering exchanging this handset for another model. But I really like this phone and would love to keep it working. My Rogers modem is a DOCSIS 3.0 modem (the wireless N gateway router), which is presumably a cable modem and router combined, if that helps. Thanks kindly. 🙂

Are you able to connect the Optimus to other wireless networks?

Re: Cisco DPC3825 Gateway

Have you DISABLED Wifi Protected Setup? Disable that...

Wireless > Basic Settings. "Wireless Configuration".

You'll have setup a SSID & wireless security key...

But try switching that Wireless Configuration to MANUAL.
