Cancelling a contract before it starts - any penalties?

So my old cable/internet contract is about to finish up next week and I worked out a new one with Rogers to start up as the old one stops. My question is, if I wanted to cancel the new contract now, will there be any penalties? Even though it hasn't started yet.

No penalty if cancelling before the new contract starts, or within the first 30 days of the new contract. however you will still have to submit your 30 Days Disconnection Notice.
