It means Rogers Community Employees can not make suggestions, however regular users on the community such as myself, and yourself and others who are not employed by Rogers CAN make suggestions as to what other alternative apps are available, however I do not know of such at this time so I am sorry I can not recommend anything to you at this time.
Thank you for posting your query in the Community. Unable to receive text messages is very inconvenient. The issue may not be related to the Extreme Text service, it was discontinued as of January 10, 2018.
Are you still not able to receive text messages? If yes, provide us details about your phone, text app etc. so that we can find the solution for you.
