Can I use my Irish phone in Canada

I am moving to Canada at the end of October and currently have a BB Curve 9800.

Would a SIM  card from Rogers work on my BB?

It's already unlocked.

Thanks,

Trish

Re: Can I use my Irish phone in Canada

The 9800 is a Torch unless you are talking about the 8900 curve.

Some European cell phones can not work in Canada due to network restriction & also some of the frequencies do not work with Rogers. DO you know which frequencies the Curvce 8900 from Irianland has in it?
