Can I take over somebody else's cell phone contract only? not account.

I would like to know if I can take over somebody's cell phone contract with there permission, but not there entire account, for example, my brother has a roger's account with cable/net/and his wireless, I just want to take over his wireless account.

Also if I do this, will I keep the same plan he's on? even if it was a promotional plan at the time?

Hello tyler31622

Yes you can. Rogers will look at your credit & see if you are approved. If you are, they will be able to transfer the wireless account to your name. Your brother needs to contact Rogers & tell them you will take it over. Have them write that on his account on notes. Then when you call, everything will be set.

The plan should stay the same BUT it may change if the reps change it.
