Call quality on HTC Raider

Does anyone hear a lot of static on the HTC Raider when using the headset. Sometimes its quite annoying. I am wondering if this is a device problem?

That happens a lot with other phone as well. It has not happened to me using my Raider with Apple in-ear heaphones tho. Maybe its headset you got that needs to be replaced.

No issues with the 2 in our household.

I find the issue only preset when there is no background noise. At night the sound is prominent. I have seen the same issue on 4 difference devices. However during the day when there is background noise, i cannot hear any static.

Maybe I can just hear too well

I had the same issue with my iPhone 4S, Samsung galaxy s2 & iPhone 4. Seems that a lot of people are having the same issue
