Hello Everyone.
Rogers this morning did something i never believed they would have done. They opened up the reservation line for the Blackberry 10 device. No hardare picture / spec info has been give. You are ONLY able to reserve the device. There is $40 reservation fee that will be added to your account BUT it will be credited back ONCE the device has been shipped or the reservation has been cancelled. You will need to pick the store you want it to be shipped to as well. You can change the store while its in OPEN status.
For Business / Corporate clients, Log into your Business / Corporate account & do it from there. Here is the link : http://www.rogers.com/business/on/en/smallbusiness/
I am #64. I was going to do it earlier but was busy with work. Hurry UP!!!!!!!!!!
Any questions? I will be happy to answer them for you. 🙂
* The Rogers Reservation System FAQ can be found here : http://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=support_results&_nfls=true&setLanguage...
** I would also like to add this for anyone to read as well:
" Note that use of the Reservation System does not guarantee that you will receive the device before everyone else. We will, however, do our best to get the device to you as soon as possible. In order to secure a place in our reservation line, a reservation fee of $40.00 plus taxes will be applied to your next Rogers invoice and will be credited back to your account when your device is shipped from our warehouse or when your reservation is cancelled."

Hi there,
Just wondering - is this only for the "L" (full touch screen model) or is the reservation also good for the "N" (QWERTY/touch device)?
Thanks!

I have tried numerous times to reserve my BB 10 online but everytime I get to the end I cannot submit the request. No URL is displayed on the screen, it seems to be a dead link when I click on suvbmit. Very Frustrating!!!!

@Meowmix.
I probably will try on chrome tonight...but it's likely that a lot of other people wouldn't bother to continue with the reservation after this initial resistance and frustration.
Wouldn't it make sense for the reservation system to function on IE9 seeing as its the stock browser on something like 70% of all operating systems? Or failing adapting your systems to browsers, perhaps since it is a "known issue" you could put a notice on the page that the reservation system will not work with IE9? Would prevent alot of fist-wringing and other frustration.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure I've had no issues with IE9 and the reservation system, but I may have enabled compatibility mode in IE9.
I'll check tonight to see if it actually works for me, but I know I've had zero issues with Firefox or Chrome.

Well if it works for me, and I just confirmed it does, no reason why others can't successfully use it either. Just need to enable compatibility view. Slight nuisance, but not out of the norm for IE.

Rogers opened up reservations for the bb10 only to non-business customers. They told me that business consumers have to wait. What's the point! What idiot thought of that! The reason people buy Berries is because it is a business tool. I'm very frustrated and I'm amazed that the person or committee that thought of the idea of blocking business customers from reserving this phone has beat natural selection.

Hello roadbully
It could be that they are having difficulty doing it for the business side. I do tho agree that they should be able to open up the reservation system for the business side as businesses use Blackberries as well. I would like to hear more from Rogers BUT they do not comment on this stuff which sucks. I will contact them & speak to a Manager & i will also take it on the Rogers Facebook & twitter pages.
I am sorry for your inconvenience:(
EDIT -
I found the link you need to do it with. This will let you sign up & send you a email about it tho.

Hi, I can upgrade on the 19th of January but I reserved my BB10 phone. Will they do the new upgrade at the store when they contact me to come pick it up? #857 😞

Hello babysakic
Yes they will do it at the store!. The phone will be shipped to the store you picked it to go to. Once you go pick it up, they will ask you what you want to do. Tell them you want to do a simple upgrade & you are set:)
Just to avoid any confusion, your BB 10 upgrade will be done at the store but not before January 30th (and probably not even then). I wasn't sure if your were asking about getting a BB 10 when your upgrade is available. Yes you can, but you'll have to wait for a couple of weeks until BB 10 is publicly available.
Cheers. 🙂

Hello BillJ
Read their post again. Its said " Will they do the new upgrade at the store when they contact me to come pick it up? " That means they already know they have to wait for the upgrade to be done.. Its abit confusing but was able to understand and give ther proper answer just like you did:)
