Bell canada keeps threating me to take my number from Roger's...can they do that without my permission?

Thats the first I have ever heard of one THREATENING to take your number.

 

How are they contacting you to do this?

Only thing I can think of, is that somehow someone is trying to PORT your number to bell? Saying its theirs?
