Once again i am making the iPhone Questions / Reservation thread!!!!! Apple just announced the new iPhone which is called iPhone 6S & iPhone 6S Plus . The new iPhone's includes a 3DTouch, 13MP back new isight camera, rose gold color & much much more. . This thread is the offical thread for the iPhone 6S / 6S Plus for customers which have any questions or need answers! Rogers will put up the pre order list for customers that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .
- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation.
- If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account.
- If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.
- If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.
2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.
3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mind you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level 1 on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) . For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.
Pre orders will come out Saturday Sept 12th & Launch date is Friday Sept 25th. I am sure Rogers will follow those orders. As for the device orders & which models Rogers will get. I am sure Rogers will get both models like they did last year.
Also the prices for both phones are different. So if you are going to get the iPhone 6S Plus, it will be much higher price then the iPhone 6S. Rogers will announce the phone prices within either today or sometime before Friday!!! The prices are the same as last year from what Apple said!.
Also remember please post anything related about iPhone 6S & 6S Plus in here please. I know this is a long thread to read, but read it before asking multiple questions in which have been already answered in this post ( if they have been answered on this post / thread). I will do my best like I have for the past 5 years of doing this to answer any questions you have about the reservations or device.

Reserved an iPhone 6s Plus 128GB Space Grey on day one and was #14 nationally and no real movement so far (over the last 4 weeks moved to #8 but mostly due to cancellations I'm sure rather than actually Rogers fulfilling anything).
I've now called Rogers and confirmed that they happen to have Gold, Silver and Space Grey all available in stock at 128GB capacities for pre-order. Now cancelled my reservation and ordered it via pre-paid and will be receiving it tomorrow or Monday most likely.
Rogers stock allocation for Reservations has been completely unacceptable from day 1.
Anyway just posting this to let others know to call in and see if you can get your phone via pre-order rather than waiting longer for absulotely no progress. The reason I've not done this earlier was that I was wanting to do the trade-in thing with an old phone which I now cannot do as you have to pickup at a store for you to be able to do it and pre-orders will only be shipped to your home directly.
Hopefully Rogers will learn how to communicate and allocate stock fairly by the next iPhone launch a year from now!
@Mark777 I just called to see if I was as lucky as you, they're already sold out of all Plus's in all sizes and colours according to the person who helped me.
I've been waiting since day 1 and still haven't heard anything at all. I can't even go to any stores locally because none can handle corporate upgrades. I'm very fed up with this reservation system and it's unlikely that I'll do it again.
Currently placed in 270th spot. Called a rogers store earlier today they said they have one IP6+ 64g in stock. Although its not the color of my choice but I didn't care too much.
Drove 15mins to the store and the rep serviced me and my account looked good. She then gave a call to her manager to confirm(god knows why) and then she tells me that THIS PHONE IS SAVED FOR HER MANAGERS FRIEND.
I'm confused? Asked if that person was on the reservation system and she's like nope, its our managers friend that's why.
I got fed up and just left. I understand this is human nature if you run a business and you hook up a friend but that should only be the case if there aren't any customers to serve in the first place.

Hence why, we took the necessary measures in order to prevent a similar situation from happening again.
I just finished speaking to an Agent on Rogers regarding the order I have made for the phone. They take no responisbility of what so ever in bringing product and service to their clients. That is what they say. I ordered an Iphone 6s Plus from an sale agent over the phone. He found the phone for me the next day so in agreement I'll add a line to my existing plan. He guarantees that the phone will be shipped the next day and for 3-5 businses day shipping. So therefore I wait from Thursday (October 😎 to Wednesday (October 14). As we know it is the long weeeknd so the extra days were given just in case. Next I received an email saying the new line has been activated on the October 14 and well where is my phone?
So I go online to speak with an Online Agent on regards the whereabouts of my phone and why I would be charged for the line while the phone is still being shipped or being made?? The Online Agent "Eva" says, yes the phone is in the warehouse still. Great so that is good to know how well Rogers Systems works.
Next I speak with an Sale Agent to see what is going on. She goes, "Sorry I can not help you with anything as of right now. They changed your plans without your consent and that is why your phone has been delayed." Well that is great service... What next, I asked why am I paying for a line that I don't use and there is no phone for it? She goes well the phone is being shipped shortly. So now shipped on Friday (October 16,), Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Tuesday (possible Receiving). Wednesday (Possible Receiving), Thursday (Maximum day of receiving), that I have to pay for a line that can not be used. What does the agent says next? Sorry for your loss, I can't help with your situation.

It makes sense now. Just heard a news that a major design flaw was found on the 6s PLUS and they had to stop the production. To everyone who reserved a 6s plus, just get a 6S and you'll be surprised how quick you can get your phone.
My iPhone 6s 16G Silver moved from position #6 on October 3rd (day of reservation) , to #5, #4, #3 over the past couple of weeks; and just moved to "In Progress" this morning! So excited!
I might be imagining things, but when I signed up for the device reservation, I recall seeing something that said I would be emailed with any changes to my position in line, along with emails as my order was processed; but I have not received a single email so far. I have been checking my junk email as well just in case.
So I guess my question is, should I have been getting emails all along? Or is the step in the process my phone is currently at where the emails should actually be starting? 🙂

How does "In Progress" differ from "In Progress (Pre fulfillment)" ? I have beein in "In Pregress (Pre fulfillment)" since Sept 18 and hardly any movement over much of that time, other than what I can only assume is from people ahead of me cancelling, as most movements are by 1 or 2 spots per day.
