Once again i am making the iPhone Questions / Reservation thread!!!!! Apple just announced the new iPhone which is called iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus . The new iPhone's includes a bigger screen, different backing design, better camera & VoLTE & much much more. . This thread will be where you need to post questions & even your reservation numbers once Rogers announces it & puts it up. Please do NOT make another thread about reservation & or about the new iPhone . I would like to keep it as one thread & clean..I am sure getting the iPhone Plus !!!
1). Once Rogers has announce when they will add the iPhone 6 to the reservation list & the day comes, sign into your My Rogers account - Product & Services – Wireless & you will see a Red wording saying “Device Reservation" on the main page. Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want " iPhone 6 / 6 Plus 16GB, 64G,128GB " & the color of the device you want. You also need to pick the store you want it to go too. Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .
- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation.
- If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account.
- If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.
- If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.
2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.
3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also remember you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mine you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) .For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.
Pre orders will come out Friday Sept 12th & Launch date is Next Friday Sept 19th. I am sure Rogers will follow those orders. As for the device orders & which models Rogers will get. I am sure Rogers will get botboth models like they did last year.
Also the prices for both phones are different. So if you are going to get the iPhone 6 Plus, it will be much higher price then the iPhone 6. Rogers will announce the phone prices within either today or sometime before Friday!!!
Also remember please post anything related about iPhone 6 & 6 Plus in here please. I know this is a long thread to read, but read it before asking multiple questions in which have been already answered in this post ( if they have been answered on this post / thread). I will do my best like I have for the past 4 years of doing this to answer any questions you have about the reservations or device.

Well, having your issue escalated doesn't mean it will be resolved (speaking from personal experience).
We had a unit shipped and signed for at the store, only to find out they "didn't have it". I suspect someone at the store sold it to someone else. Rogers has never admitted this.
We walked into an Apple store on the weekend and had no problem picking up the phone we wanted. There was, however, another problem on the Rogers account which prevented us from getting the subsidized phone (so ANOTHER call to Rogers). The Apple rep did say that the telcos are their last priority for stock. All new stock will go to the Apple stores and their on-line store. Whatever is "leftover" goes to the telcos. For the past 3 years the Apple stores will sign up customers on any of the telcos. Or, you can purchase unlocked. I'm sure this has been mentioned here, before.
If you want a phone, just go straight to an Apple store.
I will NEVER get a phone through Rogers again.
This was my experience.......
On Dec.18th I was Christmas shopping at Best Buy and just out of curiosity I decided to ask if they had the phone I preordered on the first day, Sept.12th with Rogers under a business/corporate account. The phone I wanted was the 6 plus 128GB Space Grey and at the time I was sitting at 55 out of 649 for the longest time. Well it turned out they had it but in Silver. I didn't really thought about getting it when the rep asked if I wanted it. I said not really and I have a business/corporate account anyway. He said "Come on man get it. We only have two left and they sell fast within a day. We can process business accounts here too." Then I thought OK why not. Got excited and in about 20 minutes I walked out with the phone all set up. Then I had regrets getting it because I waited so long for the color I wanted, and on top of that I was having some problems hearing a phone conversation. The return policy was 15 days or 30 talk time. Even though I was happy with it I decided to return it the next day because I found fault hearing through it and of course the color. Yes folks that's right, I returned it and I thought I'd wait for the SG instead, being at 55 in line. No problems returning it.
As I walked back through the Eaton Centre, I decided to stop by the Apple store and asked if they had my device. Well, it turned out they just got a shipment and they were able to set me up again under the business/corporate account with no problems. So this time I walked out with the device I wanted and was and still am very happy with it. There was not even a difference in the subsidized price from what Rogers was offering at both stores and no activation fee. The only thing was I had to call Rogers to activate the SIM card. When I did that, I asked if I could still get some sort of discount on the bluetooth speaker I was promised for waiting over 3 months for the device and the rep said those speakers were long gone and only lasted for so long since we were told while quantities lasted. Don't know if that was true or not but I didn't really care anyways since I also preordered a 6 Silver 64GB for my wife on Sept.12th under a business/corporate account and she got it 3 weeks later with the speaker so we already had it. So I'm not sure how the business/corporate accounts work, but it seems obvious that they are different based on the business plan that the business negotiates with Rogers. As a result, I'm guessing some accounts are easy to set up than others at the Apple or Best Buy stores and maybe other stores.
Overall, the experience was painful, especially knowing how Rogers doesn't get many shipments and how slow Apple was to manufacture the model I wanted.

On Dec 23/14 I ordered a gold iphone 6, 16G and was #185/185 in the queue. As of today (Jan 7/15) and 2 weeks later, I am 182/334 in the queue. Does anyone have any information on the wait times for this phone and/or if Rogers is getting a shipment etc in the near future? Just trying to figure out how long I will be waiting. Thanks in advance for input!
Corporate customer and ordered 128G Space Grey 6 on Oct 15th and still waiting. Have no idea where I am in the queue. Apparently my company can't check so they said they have no update on when to expect it. How do you even check the corporate queue?
That is disappointing for business customers. I am 178/339 today ... progress of 7 orders ahead of me completed? or people dropping out?? Customer service rep who took my order quoted me 2-3 weeks for delivery of my iphone 6 gold 16G.
Hello. I am a rogers corporate customer, I ordered an Iphone 6plus 64Gb in silver at the end of december by calling into the business line. This was my only choice after trying to go into different rogers stores including the Eaton centre Rogers Plus location and was unsuccessful at getting it through any of the stores (their systems didnt allow because of the type of corporate account). My only choice was to call in and order it. When i called in, they let me know that i was only 6th in line and that i would recieve my phone in no time. Well after waiting 2 and half weeks already i am still waiting. My order has been in progress(activation) since a couple of days ago and has not changed. I tried calling in to see the status but it seems no body knows how long it takes once its in this status. Supposedly, its in the process of being shipped. how long does this take? I currently have no working phone so in a rush to get it as soon as possible. Its pretty frustrating to go without a phone for this long and it seems no body at rogers seems to care about this. Do you know how much longer i should expect to be waiting? how long does it take to ship the phone if its already in stock and ready?

I'm on a corporate account and I ordered my 6+ 64GB Gold on Jan 6th, I was 12/12 at the time. On Friday 9th I was 12/28, this morning I was 2/23 and by end of day today around 5pm I got my UPS tracking number.
They originally told me 2-3 weeks so less than 1 week was pretty good.
