Hello Everyone!

 

 

 

Once again i am making the iPhone Questions / Reservation thread!!!!! Apple just announced the new iPhone which is called iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus . The new iPhone's includes a bigger screen, different backing design, better camera & VoLTE & much much more. . This thread will be where you need to post questions & even your reservation numbers once Rogers announces it & puts it up. Please do NOT make another thread about reservation & or about the new iPhone . I would like to keep it as one thread & clean..I am sure getting the iPhone Plus !!!

 

 

 

1). Once Rogers has announce when they will add the iPhone 6 to the reservation list & the day comes, sign into your My Rogers account - Product & Services – Wireless & you will see a Red wording saying “Device Reservation" on the main page. Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want " iPhone 6 / 6 Plus  16GB, 64G,128GB  " & the color of the device you want. You also need to pick the store you want it to go too. Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .

 

- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation.

- If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account.

- If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.

- If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.

 

 

2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.

 

 

3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also remember you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mine you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level  on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) .For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues  / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.

 

 

 

Pre orders will come out Friday Sept 12th & Launch date is Next Friday Sept 19th. I am sure Rogers will follow those orders. As for the device orders & which models Rogers will get. I am sure Rogers will get botboth models like they did last year.

 

Also the prices for both phones are different. So if you are going to get the iPhone 6 Plus, it will be much higher price then the iPhone 6. Rogers will announce the phone prices within either today or  sometime before Friday!!!

 

 

Also remember please post anything related about iPhone 6 & 6 Plus in here please. I know this is a long thread to read, but read it before asking multiple questions in which have been already answered in this post ( if they have been answered on this post / thread). I will do my best like I have for the past 4 years of doing this to answer any questions you have about the reservations or device.

walked into my friendly electronics place,

 

asked if they had a iphone 6+ SG 64GB, 

guy said: got a box full

i said ill take one

 

he pulls one out, i put it in my hand, 

 

he asks me

"btw you orded from consumer or corporate?"

 

i said coporate, he takes the box from my hand and says "sorry bud, cant have that, have to wait your turn"

 

i seen bouncers treat drunk unruly customers in a downtown bar better than rogers treats the corporate cutomers

 

very very disapointed with rogers

okay so I got a couple of questions. my iPhone 4s is getting a bit clunky i guess due the age of what kind of phone it is. So I thought just break out and get an iPhone 6 plus. And my 1st concern is I reserved it I guess last night and call me impatient but was expecting it to process at least by now. But no such luck. What is the usual wait for a reserve to process is my 1st question? 2nd question as it an early upgrade how do they bill it now? do they charge a portion by month or do you just pay out right?

Maybe they can't process Corporate accounts. I wouldn't think they rejected you because you are a corporate customer and Rogers says NO PHONES FOR YOU!!!

I got mine from BB and FS and they did tell me that they might not be able to upgrade me because of the specifics of my corporate account and not because I am a corporate customer.

Which friendly electronic store is this??

Thanks for reply. The Rogers store rep cut my old iPhone 4s SIM card and using it in my iPhone 6s. It was working then don't work anymore. I just went to store and asked them reinstalled a new SIM card to me. It works. But the LTE single strength is only on level 2. I am in yorkmills area. Suppose to have very good signals .

They told me the rep helped me yesterday was just started working there...

I need to unblock my iPhone 4s. So I asked them gave me another SIM card corny iPhone 4s.

I will try if I can unblock my old phone。 hope everything turns better

I got a UPS notification email on Monday saying that my iPhone 6 Plus 64gig SG phone was finally delivered that night. I still haven't received a call yet from them to let me know that I can pick it up. I know Rogers Authorized Dealers take longer than corporate...but for real? Thursday now and still nothing. In the email it said from Rogers when my phone was shipped if I don't get it by the 14 (which is tomorrow) it will be given to the next person. The date is void now since they haven't called me yet right? When I call the guy on Monday at the dealership, he said he will call me when it's in.
What do you think Meowmix?

Hi everyone,

 

Wireless Wave just called me today and they told me to pick up the iPhone6+. But now my reservation on Rogers is under "in-progress" so how can I cancel my reservation so that another person can get it. And is it still possible to get the deposit ($40) back?

#142 out of 1253 for the 6 plus space gray 64 gig, registered on september 12th and was 267 on the corporate reserve list at that time. It upsets me to see how many people are posting on here after waiting only a few days for their phone and how upset they are getting having to wait a week or two to get their devices. My contract is over and I can switch to a different provider but I choose to stick with Rogers. My husband called Rogers 1 week ago and told them that he was trying to save me from switching to another company and they have setup a 2nd reservation for the same phone on their back end system. No idea what number I am on the back end reservation but I have a feeling that phone will come in before the corp reservation that was made on September 12th. I am glad that my 4s is still working somewhat, it has 28megs of space free and crashes a lot, plus it has a cracked screen that so far hasn't spread but for the most part it is working and I can wait, would rather not wait until the 6s plus comes out though. Very disappointed with Rogers for not assigning phones to corp customers.

Wow...you are still at 142?  I gave up on that queue and went to BB and FS and got my phones.  I suggest you look at FS and BB.  I kept checking online and calling the stores and found my 2 iphone 6+ 64gb SG.

yup it's pretty sad, I am worried about the corp issues when hitting the stores and now we have this backend reservation which sounds like will be faster than the corp queue so my husband asked me to wait longer as he spent a long time on the phone with rogers business and they seemed to really want to fix the situation. I think I'll give up next week and see what other options are out there.

The rep on the phone is simply trying to calm you down. Truth be told he/she is not responsible for what rogers calls "service." I emailed customer relations manager and she replied informing me to switch to a regular plan if i want it faster.

I almost lost my temper while reading that email but quickly realized the manager herself is simply doing as told. Upper management (Sitting in Toronto) decides policies and they are solely to blame for the BS service corporate clients are getting.

No matter how much rogers refuses, its quite clear (via this forum and seeing stock in-store) that rogers gives better treatment to regular vs corporate clients.

As i said before it takes 1-3 business days or more for their own warehouse to ship it out. Seeing as its a third party owner that owns the Rogers authorized stores they pick which method to ship the devices to the store in and when. Unfortunately Rogers has no control over this. They can't tell the private owners of those stores to ship with express shipping and ship it that day. I wish they did tho.


I would wait until tonight and call back or tomorrow morning and see.

You would be looking at a 2-5 week waiting at this point. Apple, Bell. Telus and others have that wait as of right now. Apple isn't shipping enough to the carriers or their own stores to begin with.

Has is that Rogers fault when a third party store is denying you the sell?.. Blame them not Rogers. I would blame Rogers for the long wait but not this.

It doesn't matter if u reserved it or not the store should have been able to give it to u IF they could access business or corporate accounts. If they can not then i can see why they denied the sell.

Just got home to find a ups sticker on the door, don't know for sure but it looks like the second order we put in may have paid off. need to go to the ups store tomorrow and see if it is in fact my phone. Will keep you posted!

Can someone tell me how long it takes to get your email notification on shipping details from when the site changes your reserved status to "In Progress"
