Hello Everyone!
Once again i am making the iPhone Questions / Reservation thread!!!!! Apple just announced the new iPhone which is called iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus . The new iPhone's includes a bigger screen, different backing design, better camera & VoLTE & much much more. . This thread will be where you need to post questions & even your reservation numbers once Rogers announces it & puts it up. Please do NOT make another thread about reservation & or about the new iPhone . I would like to keep it as one thread & clean..I am sure getting the iPhone Plus !!!
1). Once Rogers has announce when they will add the iPhone 6 to the reservation list & the day comes, sign into your My Rogers account - Product & Services – Wireless & you will see a Red wording saying “Device Reservation" on the main page. Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want " iPhone 6 / 6 Plus 16GB, 64G,128GB " & the color of the device you want. You also need to pick the store you want it to go too. Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .
- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation.
- If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account.
- If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.
- If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.
2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.
3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also remember you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mine you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) .For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.
Pre orders will come out Friday Sept 12th & Launch date is Next Friday Sept 19th. I am sure Rogers will follow those orders. As for the device orders & which models Rogers will get. I am sure Rogers will get botboth models like they did last year.
Also the prices for both phones are different. So if you are going to get the iPhone 6 Plus, it will be much higher price then the iPhone 6. Rogers will announce the phone prices within either today or sometime before Friday!!!
Also remember please post anything related about iPhone 6 & 6 Plus in here please. I know this is a long thread to read, but read it before asking multiple questions in which have been already answered in this post ( if they have been answered on this post / thread). I will do my best like I have for the past 4 years of doing this to answer any questions you have about the reservations or device.

I just spent 2 hours with no outcome. This is my story:
I called Rogers today and the rep told me i can go to any rogers plus or corporate store and they can upgrade because i recently updated my corporate plan - MSD updated. I called again to confirm with another rep because the closest store with in-stock 64GB was 45mins away. Both reps said the same thing and so I, foolishly, got happy..did a few happy dance moves and headed towards the store. On my way, i was dreaming of how awesome it would be to actually use a smartphone after waiting for 7 weeks (no smartphone on me right now).
I got to the store and the sales associate asked for my phone number. I gave it to her. a few mins later she was panicking. This is how the convo went:
Me: is everything ok?
lady: "OMG..this is a MSD account. No no no. I cannot touch MSD accounts. omg."
me: (surprised and shocked) i just spoke to two different reps on the phone and both said it can be done. Can you please recheck?
Lady: Because you do not understand, let me put it this way: i will get FIRED! Do you want me to get fired?
Me: No i dont want you fired. its ok. thankyou. (and i left)
I called rogers call centre to shout at them for their stupidity, for the company's lack of information between departments, and for a lack of service corporate clients are given. The rep stated, and i quote, "if you want better service i can remove you from a corporate account and give you a regular price plan. You will give up all the price benefits but you can grab the phone today. Its upto you."
I hungup the phone. The rep admitted that Rogers gives preferential treatment to regular consumers VS Corporate clients. But when rogers sales rep go to corporate firms to get contracts, they DO NOT specify that corporate clients will be given sub-par service. This is a double-sided game..i am disappointed!
All this while an iPhone 6 64GB silver - store has 12 in stock - sits and collects dust. While I, a corporate client and customer of 8 years, waits at #430 (due to cancellations) for 7+weeks in the hopes of receiving a phone in my lifetime..
I am going to speak to Telus tomorrow..

I have given up on this company. There is a serious lack of information between stores and call centres. The store rep told me call centres do not realize stores cannot touch MSD, while call centres tell me stores don't know what they are doing - its a huge mess.
Although i don't expect any better from Telus either - nor bell. But i need a phone ASAP. Presently using a non-smartphone and its terrible. I am missing important emails and it is affecting my income stream.
ps: I do have an update on shipments. The rep mentioned warehouses receive apple shipments every Tuesday and Thursday. I apologize if this info is old, just thought i mention it.

So my husband decided to call rogers again and tell them that I'm switching to telus. My contract is over and I can switch but we want the corp discount, we are saving about 40 bucks a month combined for our plans now that we have the corp plan. The first person he talked to didn't want to lose me to telus and to be honest I don't really want to switch providers. The lady on the phone said that we could go to a store and pick up a phone from there, so she started calling stores for us and everyone said they couldn't do it so she tranfsfered him to the loyalty team and the lady there said that she ordered me a phone on a different reservation system, and as soon as one of the phones comes in to email her and let her know so she can cancel the other reservation. No idea what number I am in that queue but apparently I now have 2 reservations. I am only able to see my old reservation when I login which is sitting at 147 out of 1258 for the 6+ SG 64gb (reserved on Sept 12). My husband spent 1.5 hours on the phone today trying to get this resolved and told both people he spoke to that they are favoring residental customers and not allocating any phones to the corporate people who have been waiting almost 2 months, neither person responded to his comment about them ignoring corp customers. I think we have very good reason to be upset and I think we would be more understanding of the situation if we could see that they are actually trying to get us our phones in the corp queues. I have a 16 gb 4s right now and its so full and has a cracked screen, I'm lucky that it is still working for me, so yeah I'm upset that my birthday present from my husband that we hoped would be here for October 3rd still hasn't made it.
Meowmix you are apprecaited and thanks for trying to help everyone deal with a situation that you have no control over. Don't let people's snotty remarks get to you, there are so many of us that look to you for answers right now and we know you are doing everything you can to help us.

It seems to me there are far less corporate customers than residential ones. Hence probably the reason for the wait. Better to anger the few than the majority. Anyways, anyone know how long the "in progress" status lasts?

I just got an email/text message saying my 6+ 64gb just shipped and if i don't pick it up by Nov 14, it will go to next customer. Unfortunately, I will be on my holiday from Monday. I am not sure UPS still shipping on Saturday so if they have my phone over weekend or at least in the moring on Monday, I will just stop by the store and pick it up... Otherwise, i have to contact the store and explain my situation.. Did anybody try asking store to hold phone for you?? If so, how was the store's response? If they reject my request then I will say good bye to Rogers. 😞

hmmmm after seraching on the web, UPS does not do deliver on weekends. I just have to cross my fingers so that the store holds the phone for me.
I have read people are so frustrated on waiting for the phone. Yes.. it is very frustrated. I'm a consumer (not a coperate nor business) but still Rogers should treat everyone equal. It seems like mostly consumer side gets all the phones they reserved. I reserved my phone quite late (Resreved on Sept 28 ish...) but many reserved even reserved on the release date and still wait. That sucks. Really sucks....

The status for delivery updated that it will be delivered on Monday by noon. Fail. My flight is 11:40..... If they shipped it one day earlier, I would get it by Monday before my flight. So sad... I even agreed to change my plan to Share plan when a customer service representative called me few days earlier.

Yup, Following the email that my 6+SG 64G shipped, I received another email telling me my account was credited the $40 deposit.
If all goes well, my phone should be at the store by end of day Monday.
All in all, it will have taken two months.

I've been number 27 for three weeks and ordered the phone via a business account in September 21. Just talked to rogers and was told that I could be waiting for Christmas. Just letting anyone know who ordered the same phone what I was told

I ordered 2 days after you and Christmas sounds about right. I really am THAT pessimistic based on what I've seen (i.e. Rogers sending to consumer clients first even when the poor souls on the corporate queue were #2 in the queue after preordering on Sept 12th...good grief!)
