Apple iPhone 6 & 6 Plus Questions / Reservation numbers!.

Hello Everyone!

 

 

 

Once again i am making the iPhone Questions / Reservation thread!!!!! Apple just announced the new iPhone which is called iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus . The new iPhone's includes a bigger screen, different backing design, better camera & VoLTE & much much more. . This thread will be where you need to post questions & even your reservation numbers once Rogers announces it & puts it up. Please do NOT make another thread about reservation & or about the new iPhone . I would like to keep it as one thread & clean..I am sure getting the iPhone Plus !!!

 

 

 

1). Once Rogers has announce when they will add the iPhone 6 to the reservation list & the day comes, sign into your My Rogers account - Product & Services – Wireless & you will see a Red wording saying “Device Reservation" on the main page. Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want " iPhone 6 / 6 Plus  16GB, 64G,128GB  " & the color of the device you want. You also need to pick the store you want it to go too. Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .

 

- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation.

- If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account.

- If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.

- If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.

 

 

2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.

 

 

3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also remember you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mine you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level  on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) .For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues  / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.

 

 

 

Pre orders will come out Friday Sept 12th & Launch date is Next Friday Sept 19th. I am sure Rogers will follow those orders. As for the device orders & which models Rogers will get. I am sure Rogers will get botboth models like they did last year.

 

Also the prices for both phones are different. So if you are going to get the iPhone 6 Plus, it will be much higher price then the iPhone 6. Rogers will announce the phone prices within either today or  sometime before Friday!!!

 

 

Also remember please post anything related about iPhone 6 & 6 Plus in here please. I know this is a long thread to read, but read it before asking multiple questions in which have been already answered in this post ( if they have been answered on this post / thread). I will do my best like I have for the past 4 years of doing this to answer any questions you have about the reservations or device.

Thanks for the help again meowmix.

Now to find a good case. Bought a cheap $15 silicone case as a temp at Rogers. They didn't have anything I liked.

I would suggest getting the Spigen Neo Hybrid bumper Metal case! I have it on mine. It gives u one screen protector, bumper case and back protector that u apply on.love it!!

As a i said ontop on my post and any times no one knows when. Not even me or the warehouse guys. Apple sends them randomly to the carriers and their own stores. Hope you sometime this week tho.

Sitting at 154 in the corp queue (registered on Sept 12) for the 6+ 64gig SG. My husband got sick of hearing me whine and called rogers today, the girl said that she is also waiting for that phone for herself and that rogers hasn't been getting any from apple. My husband isn't watching this forum and didn't ask her why res customers seem to be getting their phones but corp isn't. She did tell him that she didn't think it would take until Christmas to get the phone and if it did take that long that rogers would give us a credit. He said she was very nice and helpful and he apprecaiated her taking the time to talk to him. The wait continues...

I received my Iphone 6 about a month ago through business reservation.  I just received my bill and noticed that they charged me for the full phone price.  After talking to the rep, they're saying that I have to change my plan to a $60 corporate plan to be eligible for an upgrade.  The rep I reserved the phone with didn't mention I need to change the plan and even on my reservation screen it says no plan change required and request was for a hardware upgrade.  I'm currently paying $30 voice $30 data and there is a $10 credit bringing it to $50.  I'm wondering if anyone encounter this or what should I do?

Unfortunately yes this is a new real all carriers have applied on. We all had to switch out plans to upgrade to a new phone

So $10/month * 24 months = $240 extra which is still well below the price you would have paid without subsidy. I would say you can easily recover that $240 when you sell your phone to someone else..so dont worry about it. Enjoy your phone..

 

Some here, like myself, have been waiting for 6 weeks and still #440 in queue. with no sign of movement :'(

Meow. Obviously you think I'm a pain in the, and I KNOW this because you haven't responded to my last few posts.
I just thought MAYBE since you're the one people turn to for advice, that you wouldn't MIND being asked a recurring question. Things DO change, so there was no need for the sarcasm.
I am very anxious ( as are many others ) I would hope you would understand that. I could get my phone elsewhere, but I choose to stay loyal to Rogers. That's just the kind of person I am.

I don't think that at all actually. I don't mind you guys repeating your questions but don't say " i am ignoring" or not replying to your messages. Please understand that if I don't reply to ur post, either i have not read it or did not have time to reply to it. Again i am a one man doing this for u guys so a little patience is a good thing.

I do understand that but no one not even my friend at the warehouse knows when Apple will send the devices. Apple sends them whenever they feel like it. Go look at the Apple forums and see how many are complaining that they are still waiting on Apple to send them the device from Apple not carriers. It's the same thing here for instance.

No i agree but at the same time if u see its going to take a longer time u have options u know? That's what we are all saying.

Dkwan, and additional $10 is nothing compare to some of the consumer plans.  Some are forced to upgrade to a $80 to $110 plan, if you want to upgrade to an iphone 6.  We are no longer able to keep our grandfathered plan.  I believe you would have to buy your phone, if you want to keep your old plan on the consumer side.

 

As per Rogers, iphone 6 is an expensive phone so you need an expensive plan.....lol.  I think it just a cash grab for Rogers.  There's not much choice.......all the big 3's are around that range.

My 6+ 64GB SG arrived at head office in Montreal today but not at the store where I asked to pick it up. Ugh!!! So many horrible steps before the device arrives! As if it's not enough to wait for it to go "in process"! We then have to track it from the warehouse, to the main office and then to the store! Lots of build up here, sorry! 😞

Some customers like me were able to keep our grandfathered plans but had to pay a extra $10-$20 ontop. Many had to change tho which sucks.

Unfortunately all carriers are doing this because they lost the extra year contract and also because they know many will change no matter what.

You aren't able to track it from the head office to the store. You will have to wait until the store calls u:(. Unfortunately I did post about that if u pick a Rogers authorized store 😞

Just remember tho its going to the store and u will have it! I know it's a extra few days to get it

Right, Meowmix, definitely not your miscommunication. It's just frustrating that after all this time, when one sees "shipped" and then "delivered" (UPS) there's stil one more thing to rely on. Argh!

Yeah i know how that feels. I have bought some stuff and I had to deal with that and also long time ago had to deal with it on Rogers with reserving a device going to a authorized store.

I am waiting for my iPhone 6 plus since Sep12th. I am at #53 now. They move 1 digit for every day. It seems like i have to wait until Christmas that i can get my phone!

FINALLY RECIEVED MY IPHONE 6+

 

small frustration yesterday when recieving it...   didn't let rogers give me run around

 

 

saw phone was shipped at 12:20pm. don't have a phone so the store can't call me, i went into the store at 4:45 pm afte work. NOT ONE OTHER CUSTOMER. i told her about how my iphone was delivered today and i would like to pick it up. she told me that i will get an email/phone call from the store within 3 days with my allocated time frame for pick-up. She explained they do this because of the fact they have alot of phones to be picked up and don't want a rush.  i understamd that 100% but thiers was not a person in store and a 1 rep playing hockey with my 5 yr old son on the PS4. i told her about my lack of phone and was polite in asking for it know.  she became rude and said "The system is down, so i can't do anything" (without even blinking).

 

so.... i sat and waited, if the system is down nothing can be done though the system, so i waited to see whne a customer came in to do something. 15 minutes a lady came in to pick up her phone cause she got a phone call for her time slot.

well thier i was to call out the "system down excuse" and 15 minutes later i had my phone and speaker.

 

 

i would have waited till thursday cause of my last name

I hate when that happens. I have actually caught a few reps like that and spoke to the store manager about them. The system was fine last night. The rep was just rude and cranky because u came in without being called. Also the stores don't email you to pick up ur device. They call u. Another lack rep that is going false information.

Finally picked up my iPhone 6+ yesterday after UPS said it was delivered, but the store clerk said it wasn't.

 

Another clerk called in the day to say it arrived (along with the speaker).

 

Luckily the person who took care of me once I got to the store was pleasant!

Hello so I ordered my 6+ 64 through customer service a while back and they save that there is an internal 8 digit tracking number and hopefully it will be on a truck soon.  Exactly what does this mean?
