Apple iPhone 6 & 6 Plus Questions / Reservation numbers!.

Hello Everyone!

 

 

 

Once again i am making the iPhone Questions / Reservation thread!!!!! Apple just announced the new iPhone which is called iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus . The new iPhone's includes a bigger screen, different backing design, better camera & VoLTE & much much more. . This thread will be where you need to post questions & even your reservation numbers once Rogers announces it & puts it up. Please do NOT make another thread about reservation & or about the new iPhone . I would like to keep it as one thread & clean..I am sure getting the iPhone Plus !!!

 

 

 

1). Once Rogers has announce when they will add the iPhone 6 to the reservation list & the day comes, sign into your My Rogers account - Product & Services – Wireless & you will see a Red wording saying “Device Reservation" on the main page. Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want " iPhone 6 / 6 Plus  16GB, 64G,128GB  " & the color of the device you want. You also need to pick the store you want it to go too. Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .

 

- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation.

- If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account.

- If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.

- If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.

 

 

2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.

 

 

3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also remember you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mine you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level  on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) .For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues  / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.

 

 

 

Pre orders will come out Friday Sept 12th & Launch date is Next Friday Sept 19th. I am sure Rogers will follow those orders. As for the device orders & which models Rogers will get. I am sure Rogers will get botboth models like they did last year.

 

Also the prices for both phones are different. So if you are going to get the iPhone 6 Plus, it will be much higher price then the iPhone 6. Rogers will announce the phone prices within either today or  sometime before Friday!!!

 

 

Also remember please post anything related about iPhone 6 & 6 Plus in here please. I know this is a long thread to read, but read it before asking multiple questions in which have been already answered in this post ( if they have been answered on this post / thread). I will do my best like I have for the past 4 years of doing this to answer any questions you have about the reservations or device.

Due remember it's long weekend so they won't be shipping anything out until Tuesday and on. Most likely sometime next week after Tuesday they will. It takes 1-3 days after each status to change.

I am wondering if someone can help me out here. I reserved my iphone6+ in silver on Sept 22 my order says In progress(Pre Fulfillment and I am in spot 217 out 385. I am now wanting to change the color to gold. can I do that without losing my spot or do i have to cancell my order then reorder?

You can not. If u decide to cancel and change the color of the device u will lose ur spot and wait even longer. You will need to cancel ur order and reorder it and go into a new line with a new number

I  reserved an iPhone 6 Plus 64gb silver on september 12th from rogers and it still hasn't come and it's October 12th!

Even Apple is having a hard time getting the 6 Plus in stock for their own stores so it's not just Rogers. It seems Apple isn't making enough and when Rogers is getting them in, its a small amount. Even FS and BB here in Scarborough are having a tough time getting them. Carriers still have a 3-5 week wait.

What is with Rogers getting the iPhone 6 plus. First couple weeks seemed they were getting a couple hundred now it seems like ten a week. Or maybe they are just cancellations? The odd thing is my son ordered and got his in a week directly from Apple.
Maybe Rogers should try contacting Apple and shaking the tree for the benefit of its customers instead of sitting back not really giving a hoot.

Oddly enough , I also spoke with someone in Hong Kong last week, he suggested no demand there anymore said the market was flooded. Things that make you go hmmm.

You do understand that Apple will supply their own stores and pre orders more then carriers right... If you go on the Apple Community Forums you will see so many threads of people with all the American carriers are still waiting since the pre orders opened and with Apple pre orders. So before blaming Rogers, search around. Just saying.


I am in no way defending Rogers but some people need to look around and see its NOT just Rogers. I can post around 10-15 links via Apple Community Forums and the American carrier forums which many are still waiting for their devices. This is some that everyone is having issues with. Not just Rogers. Rogers should have given a time like 4-6 weeks but never did.

Guys and Gals, I'd you want your phone spend time on the phone and call all your local Rogers stores and Apple, took me 3 hours to get the iPhone 6+ 128 gold. I also had a 64 6 silver and a 6 gold 128 on launch day. Sitting and waiting for your reserved phone a month after launch is silly. There are a ton of every model available if you're willing to put the leg work in.

My position in the reservation line went from 348 to 344 in one week. At that rate it will take 86 weeks to get my phone!!!
Really hope this isn't right. Any idea when supply is going to loosen up?

Wouldn't cancelling your reservation to buy one at FS or BB lose you the $40 reservation fee, not to mention the BT speaker (not that you can't get them cheap now anyway)?

Nope . if you cancel your reservation or it ships out you get the $40 credited back to you. Either way u get that $40 back. Yes the BT speaker you will lose but most people do not care at this point for a free BT speaker as they want the phone. FS and BB offer $50 credit on accessories or something else from what i know.

Anyone else get a message from Rogers to do a Satisfaction Survey everytime they sign on to a Rogers forum?

 

I sign on to this and the Rogers TV PVR forum a lot.

 

Kind of annoying when we're hung up on waiting for our phones!

After waiting  a month for the iphone 6, I finally got to the activiation status, then hit a roadblock when I noticed the account

said:Order is PENDING. Additional information is requested. Please contact Customer Support for more details.

Called Rogers business, and they said they only way I could get any smart phone was to change my plan to the new corporate price plan of $60, for 3 gigs of data or $70 for 5 gigs of data.    Since my current plan (with one year remaining on it is only $50 for 5 gigs of data i was alittle taken aback, as I was told when I ordered the phone that I could keep my current plan....... Thanks Rogers all this wait for nothing!!!!!    I will now look to buy a used phone I guess, as this is for my daughter, and $50 was the max I was going to pay for a plan for her....  What a rip off!!

 

Has anyone else experienced this sham!!!

Yes for the past 4 years been doing this i have seen many with a business account have road blocks like this. Last years was because of some stuff missing from the accounts aka names & such but this year could be the plans.

Do you Think if I phone customer retention that I might be able to keep my plan and  get the iphone 6.  I was specifically told that I could keep my plan and get the phone for the plan price.    The business represenative that I talked to tonight said I would have to buy the phone outright....  Which person is really right???    I have been a Rogers customer for years, you think that would count for a bit!!!!
