Once again i am making the iPhone Questions / Reservation thread!!!!! Apple just announced the new iPhone which is called iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus . The new iPhone's includes a bigger screen, different backing design, better camera & VoLTE & much much more. . This thread will be where you need to post questions & even your reservation numbers once Rogers announces it & puts it up. Please do NOT make another thread about reservation & or about the new iPhone . I would like to keep it as one thread & clean..I am sure getting the iPhone Plus !!!
1). Once Rogers has announce when they will add the iPhone 6 to the reservation list & the day comes, sign into your My Rogers account - Product & Services – Wireless & you will see a Red wording saying “Device Reservation" on the main page. Click that & it will take you to the page. Once there you will need to pick which device you want " iPhone 6 / 6 Plus 16GB, 64G,128GB " & the color of the device you want. You also need to pick the store you want it to go too. Just to make it clear, reservations are for current Rogers wireless customers which have contracts with them. Rogers will put up the Pre order list for people that want to pre order the phone which have no wireless accounts with Rogers. Also just too add below is the meaning of the statues .
- If your status is "OPEN", your reservation has been made and we are awaiting product from our supplier. At this time you can change your pick-up location, contact email address or cancel your reservation.
- If your status is "CANCELLED", your reservation has been cancelled and your reservation fee will be credited back to your account.
- If your status is "IN PROGRESS", we have begun the shipment process and you will not be able to edit or cancel your reservation any longer. The next email you will get will be the one that confirms shipment to the store you chose.
- If your status is "SHIPPED", your device has left our warehouse and is on its way to the store you chose. Keep in mind that you can NOT reserve a device via calling them. It can ONLY happen if the reservation system is down but they will to reserve it via online. Plus if you reserve it via phone, you will NOT see your status or know what number you are VS reserving it online.
2). Please keep in mind that if you pick a Rogers Authorized dealership, you may not be able to get the device soon after it ships. This has been the main issue with all the iPhone reservations & most of the other devices which have been on the reservation system. I would suggest you pick a Local Rogers store (Corporate Rogers store or Rogers Plus) to go to get it. When the Rogers warehouse sends it out, the Rogers stores will get them first. Some of the Rogers Authorized dealers have their own warehouse in which the devices will go to. After that there is no tracking until the device ships from that warehouse & goes to the store & they call you. You can also look for your FlexTab aka upgrade fee online via My Rogers or contact Rogers & they will let you know.
3). Also remember you are going to have to put down a $40 fee to reserve the device. Once it ships out, the $40 fee will be reversed back into your account. IF you want to cancel your reservation, that $40 will also be credit back to you. So either way you will get that $40 back. Also remember you may NOT be the first to get the phone if you have a high number or a low one. The Reservation system is made to have a device reserved for you as the stores will be sold out. If your reservation status still says “ OPEN” after launch & a store has a device in stock, you can still go in the store & get it. Then come back home & cancel the reservation online. If the status is “ IN PROGRESS” & you get a device via a store that have one for u, you have to wait until it ships out & then tell the store that u picked u do not want it. Do reemember the reservation number is CANADA - WIDE. This means if lets say you are #45 in line for the black one, you are #45 for that GB , color & model Canada wide. Also keep in mine you have to be the account holder in order to pick up the device at the store. No one else can. You can try adding a family member as Level on the account but some stores will decline it.

4) .For Corporate / Business customers. You guys will have a different line then regular customers do. This means you guys have a few different statutes then regular customers do. Also keep in mind for the past few years there has been issues / confusen about business customers getting the phones via the reservation. You guys will be getting them the day of launch or after depending on your status & what goes on.
Pre orders will come out Friday Sept 12th & Launch date is Next Friday Sept 19th. I am sure Rogers will follow those orders. As for the device orders & which models Rogers will get. I am sure Rogers will get botboth models like they did last year.
Also the prices for both phones are different. So if you are going to get the iPhone 6 Plus, it will be much higher price then the iPhone 6. Rogers will announce the phone prices within either today or sometime before Friday!!!
Also remember please post anything related about iPhone 6 & 6 Plus in here please. I know this is a long thread to read, but read it before asking multiple questions in which have been already answered in this post ( if they have been answered on this post / thread). I will do my best like I have for the past 4 years of doing this to answer any questions you have about the reservations or device.

I think someone mentioned it earlier but if you are clumsy and prone to dropping your phone..consider Apple Care. The out of warranty repair prices are actually quite high on the new devices compared to what they were for earlier devices.
It's worth considering and I'm not normally a big Apple Care fan.
today i read that the iphone camera takes purple pictures.
i guess another thing that needs to be fixed with the next OS update.
No purple in my pictures, the pics I have taken have been nothing short of fantastic iP6+ here
Get the Apple Care.
I used it once for an Nano and they just gave me a new one when it seemed like the songs skipped. Little fuss and seemless procedure all done within 15-20 minutes. iPhone 4 needed setup assistance to call in for help in understanding the features. Unlike the service we get from Rogers/Mfg. We have a Samsung G5 that we picked up only 3 weeks ago with a small defect in the connection door not closing properly. The Rogers Plus store refused (need to be done in 15 days) to provide a loaner, suspend the billing or repair at the location. Pickups are at the store and not your home. Repair timeline is 3-4 weeks, a $35 fee if you want to expedite the service to approx. 1-2 weeks and send to you home.
An easy decision, better customer service with repairs, tech support and warranty repairs. Rogers just forwards your phone to the mfg and offers no tech support.
Loving the 6+ and after a day or two of getting used to the size increase, it is definitely not too big.
For those worried about bending... Just put a rigid case on it and your all good. Shouldn't be walking around with a $1,000 phone with no case anyways.
Always surprised me that people will buy a $1,000 phone and then put a $2 piece of silicone on it. Buy a quality case and protect your investment.
I also got applecare+... on the 6+ it's a no brainer. 2 At fault replacements plus cost of applecare+ and you still save a few bucks over 1 Out of Warranty repair.
At $1000 you shouldn't have to buy a case. It's like buying a new couch and wrapping it in plastic like the old school Europeans use to do. I would just buy applecare and go caseless unless the phone bending is a worry for you. Apple comes out with such a beautiful product, so nice and thin yet people put these monstrous cases on it that doubles it's size. Just never made much sense to me.
I want my phone - I am 118 now and still OPEN like jesus Rogers, the whole walk in thing and reservation system is so dumb! Like can't they just get shipments in and have a list of people for every location and then allocate the phones by priorty sequence through the reservation system? No they would rather be lazy and just make their customers wait, honestly... whoever came up with this butchered system should be canned immediately.
Well I got a pick up for an iPhone 6+ today at Apple. I paid 4$ to get a notificaiton from that iPhone stock website and it text me this morning at 7:57 as I waked into work. I managed to snag a 64GB model (they had Gold at 64gb, Black at 64gb/128gb). I actually missed an opportunity 2 days ago as I received a text at midnight, but ignored it thinking it was a friend. When I finally looked at it, it was too late.
I've been at position 7 with Rogers since I pre-ordered at 5am September 12th. Kind of crazy that I was sitting with an open status for that long.
If anyone is truly wanting to get their hands on a 6+ ASAP, I highly suggest paying $4 to get notifications. You have to pay $4 per phone you want notifications for, but the trick I found was to pay $4 for the 64GB Gold iPhone as this one seems to be the most common one that I have observed within the past week. SIlver seems to be the most rare as well.

@Andrew, that site is GREAT. I used it too and got my Iphone 6 + 64gb SIlver yday. The crazy thing is I still got another text last night for yet another silver 64gb 6+ that become avail. I guess I forgot to unsubscribe after I got mine.
But basically its worth it for you guys who wana get your phone.
Am i the only person that thinks Apple is hiding something in regards to the 6+ iphone?
how in the world can there be such a shortage of these phones? even if the 140,000 they reported they produce a day is really 50% and its only 70,000 phones a day, in 7 days since launch they should have around 500,000 of these phones.
where are these phones going? China? Europe? where?
whoever is in charge of the rollout should be fired at Apple,
this is Insanely STUPID.
They've sold over 10 million combined (6 & 6+). The demand for the 6+ seems to be greater than the 6. They were producing 400,000 6s a day and only 140,000 6+ a day. I would say that 70% of the people who wanted a new iPhone wanted a 6+ over a 6.

So, it's almost a week since launch and still, while I see iPhone 6s and 6+s in peoples' hands, those of us who have reserved wait with a status of Open. It's a no brainer, which well over a thousand Rogers customers have expressed on Rogers Community Forums (thread: "Apple iPhone 6 & 6 Plus Questions / Reservation numbers!."): Rogers reservation is pretty well meaningless and doesn't work. Next time go to the source and avoid wait times: Apple Store.
